Biography
So who is Mark? I teach sports law at Fordham University in New York City. My title is Associate Professor of Legal and Ethical Studies at Schools of Business at Fordham. I have been teaching since 1987 and in addition to sports, I have taught classes in media and Internet law. I have also lectured to Bar Associations and other groups.
Before venturing into the world of the web publishing, I have written for a number of journals, both academic and popular. I have spoken at academic conferences, business meetings and bar associations about sports league governance, contract, labor, antitrust and Internet issues in sports. My writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Sports Business Journal and the New York Law Journal. I was a columnist for the New York Law Journal for 12 years. In addition, I have appeared on CNBC, Fox Sports Network, Bloomberg Information Radio and New York 1 News.
